Montessori Discovery Center has been in business since 1990. The owners are Ann Rogers and Julia Haney. We strive to offer the best quality care and education in a loving environment, and are glad to have you join us as we prepare your child for a bright and rewarding future.

Located in South Central Salem, the Montessori Discovery Center has two campuses. One just a few blocks away from South Salem High School, and the other a few miles south near the intersection of Commercial St. SE and the 12th Street Cutoff.

We have seven classrooms on two campuses with three primary classrooms at our Electric Ave. campus and two primary classrooms as well as one elementary and one upper elementary classroom at our Promontory location. We offer before and after care as well as holiday and summer camps. Our school hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for our primary school and 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM for our elementary program, with before and after care hours for primary students extending the day from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Our guides, head of school and most staff members are certified by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) to ensure we guide our students using internationally recognized standards of educational excellence.
