Tuition Rates & Fees

 Tuition Schedule

(Subject to change each academic year)

Tuition is the monthly charge to attend one of our Montessori programs. Both the elementary and primary programs require a non-refundable $100 annual registration fee. If a parent has more than one child simultaneously enrolled, the second child’s tuition is discounted by 10%. Payments may be made in 10 monthly payments, 12 monthly payments, or 1 annual payment.

Primary School Program

Full day, 5 Days per week 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Annual tuition: $7660/yr

Half day, 5 Days per week 9:00 AM – 12:45 PM
Annual tuition: $6530/yr

Full day, 3 Days per week 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Annual tuition: $6530/yr

Half day, 3 Days per week 9:00 AM – 12:45 PM
Annual tuition: $5300/yr

The annual registration fee ($100) for all students is due upon enrollment.

Before and After School Care- Primary

Before and after school care is available for those enrolled in the primary school program. Before care runs from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM. After care runs from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM. Care is billed at the end of the month at a rate of $4.65 per hour.

Late Pick-up Fee- Primary

If a child is brought to school before 8:00 AM or picked up after 4:30 PM, parents will be charged $2.00 per minute for the extra time.

Elementary School Program

5 Days per week 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Annual tuition: $7600/yr

For new students, a tuition deposit ($400) is due along with the annual registration fee ($100) upon enrollment.

For returning students, the annual registration fee ($100) is due upon enrollment. The 1st month’s tuition is due on June 1st.

Before and After School Care- Elementary

Before school care is available for those enrolled in the elementary school program. Before care runs from 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM. Care is billed at the end of the month at a rate of $5.00 per hour. After-school enrichment program runs 3:30-4:30.

Late Pick-up Fee- Elementary

If a child is brought to school before 8:00 AM or picked up after 4:30 PM, parents will be charged $2.00 per minute for the extra time.

Volunteer Assessment

Parent volunteer hours are mandatory at Montessori Discovery Center. Volunteer time is calculated by points, and each family is required to accumulate 10 points during the school year. Two points given for services such as washing towels, story time reader, bringing snack, going on a field trip, mowing the lawn, grounds keeping, and making materials for the classroom. If you are unable to volunteer at all, you may pay an annual assessment of $250 in lieu of service hours.

Late Payment/NSF Fee

Tuition is due the first day of each month. After the 5th of each month, a $30.00 late fee will be assessed unless prior arrangements have been made. If payment becomes past due by one month, your child may be dismissed from Montessori Discovery Center. Returned checks will result in a NSF fee of $25.

Withdrawal Fee

Parents must provide written notice to the director 4 weeks prior to withdrawing a child from the school. Failure to provide adequate written notice will result in an additional 4 week’s tuition charge being assessed.
